We think that one of the best Christmas gifts for toddlers has to be the much loved Leapfrog Learn & Groove Musical Table.

It will help your child to learn different skills from visual and auditory development, motor skills and of course teach them about sounds and music.

Some of the activities on the LeapFrog Learn and Groove Musical Table include:

- the spinning maraca which plays a song about the alphabet
- the colored piano keys which each product a different musical note
- The trombone slider which will count up to ten
- The cello instrument to learn up and down
- To book which will switch the mode from learning mode to music mode.

If your baby likes to dance and groove (or is it learn and groove?) then they will probably be jiggling and singing along to the music that it plays which can be adorable to watch (get your video camera ready to show grandma).

You can use it with or without the legs; depending on whether your child is crawling or standing and each four sides has different activities on it (so if your child gets bored with one side you can just turn it around). If you are using it on carpet then it will remain sturdy enough for a small child to pull themselves up to standing without it toppling, but on hardwood floors or tiles it can slip a bit so you will need to hold it steady for them.

It’s best suited for babies and toddlers aged 6 months and up and even toddlers as old as 2 years will probably still enjoy it (the manufacturer says up to three years, but we think a three year old will get bored with it sooner).

It requires three AA batteries.

Because babies love it so much we have rated this as our #1 best Toddler Toy for Christmas 2010. Read the reviews or find out more about the LeapFrog Learn and Groove Musical Table at Amazon.
