If you are looking for a unique Christmas gift this year then the latest weird toy is the range from Air Swimmers.  They have a few different versions but we particular like the clown fish one (perhaps it’s because we are a fan of Finding Nemo).

The Air Swimmers Clown Fish is a balloon type toy that you fill with helium gas and then control with an infrared remote control to make it ‘swim’ around your house.

It’s surprisingly easy to operate and once you have it inflated with helium (make sure you tether it correctly until you get it home) it does really look like it’s swimming around.

Kid’s and Dad’s especially like this toy (does Dad like it more than the kids?).

It can’t be used outside because even on a windless day it’s hard to control, but inside it works like a dream.

It needs 4 AAA batteries which are not included and once the helium is inside it will last around two weeks before it needs to be re-inflated.
